Tensors, entanglement, separability, and their complexity
This research quantifies entanglement in multipartite quantum states using tensor analysis. It connects geometric measures of entanglement to specific tensor norms, showing that separability is perfectly characterized by the nuclear norm. The work also details a trade-off: while some properties are easy to compute for fixed dimensions, determining the exact values of these measures is generally NP-hard.
