Lifting the maximally-entangledness assumption in robust self-testing for synchronous games

This work proves that if a synchronous game robustly self-tests a strategy using Projective Maximally Entangled (PME) strategies, it also robustly self-tests that strategy for all general quantum strategies. This lifts a major restriction, allowing robustness guarantees to apply to more physically relevant quantum states and strategies.
