An Infinite Family of Non-Rational VOAs from Strongly Coupled 4d Higgsless SCFTs
The paper establishes a correspondence between an infinite family of strongly coupled four-dimensional N=2 superconformal field theories (SCFTs) with trivial Higgs branches, known as (A2, D3m+1) Argyres–Douglas theories, and an infinite family of non-rational vertex operator algebras (VOAs), specifically the doublet algebras A(4m+2). This connection is verified by matching central charges and Schur indices, providing strong evidence for the proposed relationship.
