Decay of the survival probability of a local excitation in multi-qubit platforms
The study analyzes how local excitations decay in multi-qubit systems using random matrix theory to benchmark experimental data from superconducting circuits. It found that decay properties depend on whether the Hamiltonian has extended states, showing a general mechanism for equilibration in unitary dynamics.
