MOSS: Mode-Oriented Source Shaping for Robot Flow Matching Policies
MOSS proposes Mode-Oriented Source Shaping to make multimodal behavior controllable in robot flow matching policies. It treats mode selection as choosing a starting point for generation by explicitly shaping source distributions to encode mode identity into initial noise. This allows for steering the policy toward a desired behavior during inference, leading to superior guidance rates and task success.
