Collision models: Markovian and Non-Markovian impurity models
The study introduces impurity models within collision models to explore non-Markovian dynamics using the BLP measure. The main finding is that if a p-impurity model is non-Markovian, adding another impurity (p+1) also makes it non-Markovian. This suggests a critical 'p' exists where the system transitions between Markovian and non-Markovian behavior.
