Optimising for the Unknown: Domain Alignment for Cephalometric Landmark Detection
The work proposes a domain alignment strategy for cephalometric landmark detection by combining regional facial extraction and X-ray artefact augmentation. This approach uses a faster region extractor and a ConvNeXt V2 backbone to improve performance on diverse imaging protocols. The method achieved strong results, ranking best in MRE and third in SDR on the online validation leaderboard.
