Perfect Particle Transmission through Duality Defects
The study investigates wavepackets moving across topological interfaces and duality defects in quantum spin systems. The research shows that perfect transmission always occurs, where a particle becomes a nonlocal string-like excitation. This is achieved by using unitary Matrix Product Operators to connect dual theories, providing a lattice analogue for solving the monopole paradox.
