Discriminating superconducting fluctuations from the pseudogap in Bi 2 Sr 2 Ca n-1 Cu n O 2n+4+ delta (n = 2,3): A magnetotransport study

The study used magnetotransport measurements in Bi-based cuprates to distinguish between superconducting fluctuations and a strong pseudogap. The results show that the pseudogap is not caused by superconducting fluctuations, suggesting it arises from preformed Cooper pairing in the BCS–BEC crossover regime.
