Communication-Efficient Distributed Inverse Quantum Fourier Transform

The work proposes a communication-efficient version of the distributed Inverse Quantum Fourier Transform (iQFT) for quantum networks. By using a threshold-driven pruning strategy called a 'communication horizon,' it reduces the global entanglement complexity from quadratic O(P^2) to linear O(P). This significantly lowers communication overhead, making large-scale distributed quantum computation more practical by showing that long-range interactions are not necessary.
