Euclid preparation CIX. Baryon acoustic oscillation analysis of photometric galaxy clustering in configuration space
Researchers analyzed Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) signals from photometric galaxy clustering using Euclid mission data and a Flagship mock catalogue across 13 redshift bins. By fitting templates to the correlation function, they extracted parameters like the Alcock–Paczynski parameter ($\alpha$). The joint analysis yielded tight cosmological constraints on the Hubble constant ($h$), baryon density ($\Omega_b$), and cold dark matter density ($\Omega_{cdm}$), showing a significant improvement over previous constraints.
