Narrow and Deep: An Ontology Tower as the Knowledge of an LLM Agent for an Industrial Equipment System
The study proposed an 'ontology tower,' a deep knowledge structure for a single equipment system used by an LLM agent. This tower integrates physical derivations and operational lessons from journals to create narrow but deep knowledge. Testing showed that projecting this structured knowledge into prompts significantly improved the agent's ability to avoid primary traps, especially when including specific tag names and units.
