Higher-Order Magnus Corrections to Leakage Elimination Operator-Based Quantum Control Pulse Design in the Low-Frequency Regime

The work develops a nonperturbative method for Leakage Elimination Operator (LEO)-based quantum control that works beyond high-frequency limits by using the Floquet–Magnus framework. It shows that for low-frequency driving, higher-order terms in the Magnus expansion are crucial for accurate pulse design, leading to significantly enhanced fidelity in quantum state transfer and adiabatic speedup applications.
