Multimodal Fusion for Fine-Grained Classification of Breast Fibroadenoma and Phyllodes Tumors
The study addresses misclassification between breast fibroadenoma (FA) and phyllodes tumor (PT) using a multimodal deep learning framework. It combines ultrasound images, clinical attributes, and text descriptions into a single system. The proposed method uses specialized encoders and cross-modal fusion to better align information from different sources, achieving high accuracy in distinguishing these similar lesions.
