Jittering jets in stripped-envelope core-collapse supernovae

The study used one-dimensional stellar evolution simulations to test if jittering jets in stripped-envelope core-collapse supernovae (SECCSNe) can cause explosions. The results show that all models in a mass range of $12M_ ext{ZAMS}$ to $40M_ ext{ZAMS}$ have at least one strong convective zone inside the neutron star mass coordinate, which is a key requirement for the jittering jets explosion mechanism (JJEM). This finding supports the JJEM as a viable explosion pathway.
