Operational Limits of Gravity-Mediated Entanglement

The study tested whether entanglement between two massive objects via gravity remains useful beyond mere entanglement by modeling Gaussian wave packets and including realistic effects like finite width and dephasing. Results show that useful states exist in finite parameter windows, but these windows shrink with broader packets or stronger noise. It also reveals that residual electrostatic forces can cancel the gravitational signal.
