Low temperature thermodynamics of S eff=1/2 triangular lattice quantum spin liquid candidate TlYbS 2
This study investigated TlYbS2 as a candidate for a quantum spin liquid (QSL) on a triangular lattice, using various measurements from room temperature down to millikelvin temperatures. The results confirm strong easy-plane magnetic anisotropy and reveal field-induced magnetic phases, including a $1/3$ magnetization plateau. Low-temperature specific heat shows behavior consistent with strong quantum fluctuations in this frustrated magnetic system.
