Intrinsic Floquet Generation and 1/I Quantum Oscillations in a Sliding Charge-Density Wave
The study developed a complete theoretical framework to explain inverse-current (1/I) quantum oscillations in sliding charge-density wave (CDW) insulators. The key finding is that macroscopic current must flow through a highly localized coherent filament, significantly smaller than the bulk material. This mechanism links the driving current to an intrinsic dc-to-ac conversion process, suggesting a universal principle for designing intrinsically driven quantum devices.
