Delayed Choice Lorentz Transformations on a Qubit
The authors generalize Bloch ball dynamics to four dimensions to visualize qubit evolution as a point charge in spacetime under stochastic electromagnetic fields. This reveals that unitary dynamics map to rotations and non-unitary measurement collapse maps to Lorentz boosts. Crucially, this correspondence implies a 'delayed choice' effect where future experimental settings determine the nature (electric or magnetic) of the backaction long after it occurs.
