Real-World Evaluation of an AI Agent Drafting Translational Impact Summaries
An AI agent was developed to act as a first-pass author for Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) impact summaries for scholars. The system gathers evidence from various sources, assembles drafts, and critiques its own work. Evaluation showed the agent's output was highly usable as a first draft, shifting staff effort from manual assembly to review.
