Relaxation Dynamics of Superconducting/Normal Interfaces in the Intermediate State of a type-I superconductor
The study used ac magnetostriction to probe hidden dynamics at superconducting/normal (S/N) interfaces in type-I superconductors, which are usually obscured by conventional magnetic measurements. It found a striking quasi-resonant response characterized by a sign reversal in the response function, proving that S/N interfaces undergo collective oscillations driven by eddy currents within normal domains.
