Ellis-Bronnikov Wormhole Shadows with Spherically Symmetric Accretion Flow
The study simulated shadows and photon rings for an Ellis-Bronnikov wormhole compared to a Schwarzschild black hole under steady-state accretion flow. Findings show that both regions in the wormhole case are brighter because matter exists beyond the throat due to the lack of an event horizon. While results broadly match EHT observations for M87, high angular resolution is needed to definitively distinguish it from a black hole.
