The Roman Coronagraph Community Participation Program: corgisim - a simulation suite for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope Coronagraph Instrument
The corgisim package is an open-source Python simulation suite developed for NASA's Roman Space Telescope Coronagraph Instrument. It allows researchers to simulate high-contrast imaging, polarimetry, and spectroscopy by modeling the entire process from astrophysical scene setup to EMCCD detector response. This tool enables pre-launch calibration, pipeline testing, and observation planning.
