Unconventional superconductivity in ScIr 2 chiral crystal with a kagome lattice
The study investigates unconventional superconductivity in ScIr2-xSi6 by combining muon-spin spectroscopy and band structure calculations. Evidence points to a two-gap pairing model with nodes, suggesting unconventional SC driven by flat bands and strong electronic correlations. The material is also classified as a topological chiral crystal due to the presence of an Ir chiral chain.
