Anchor3DGS: Feed-Forward 3D Gaussian Splatting with Compact Anchor-Based Representation

Anchor3DGS is a pose-free 3D Gaussian Splatting method that replaces pixel-aligned prediction with a compact anchor-based representation. It decouples Gaussian count from input resolution and view count by lifting allocation into 3D space. This allows for high-fidelity novel view synthesis using significantly fewer Gaussians, making reconstruction faster and more efficient.
