Experimental generation of asymmetric keys from the parity structure of a two-photon six-qubit entangled state

The authors experimentally demonstrated an asymmetric key-generation scheme using a six-qubit photonic entangled state derived from two photons. They engineered this state so that Alice and Bob's respective triples form codewords of a classical even-parity code, allowing them to verify local errors round by round. This structure provides intrinsic self-checking, improving security against faults and achieving a raw key rate of over 130 kbit/s.
