Electrical detection of spin-flip transition in metal/ heterostructure

Researchers studied longitudinal magnetoresistance in metal/Na5Co15.5Te6O36 bilayers under magnetic fields along the easy axis of the material. They found that sharp MR changes with hysteresis occur during spin-flip transitions, which are linked to magnetostriction rather than interface spin accumulation. The study also distinguishes between weak anti-localization effects in Pt and roughness scattering in Cu.
