Data-driven multi-agent modelling of calcium interactions in cell culture: PINN vs Regularized Least-squares
The study compared two methods, CRLSM and PINN, to model calcium dynamics in cell culture using microscopy data. CRLSM provided more reliable parameter estimation for governing ODEs than PINN. This suggests that constrained regularization is superior for accurately describing cell behavior and detecting biological anomalies.
