Momentum-space non-Hermitian skin effect in an exciton-polariton system

The research proposes inducing momentum-space localization, known as the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE), in continuous exciton-polariton systems using an asymmetric, purely imaginary potential. This is achieved by manipulating the pump to create a complex potential that mimics an imaginary vector potential in momentum space. The study shows this localization persists and is enhanced when the system becomes nonlinear above the condensation threshold.
