Fortuity beyond counting: an explicit construction
The study investigates how twist-two deformations modify BPS cohomologies in D1D5 CFT, moving beyond simple state counting. By calculating supercharge actions and comparing free and gravity regimes, the authors find that monotone and fortuitous states are dynamically connected. They propose a modified projection map to reconcile these descriptions, suggesting no superselection rule separates them in the N=2 case.
