Impact of Stochastic Pop III X-ray Binaries on the Cosmological 21-cm Signal
The study developed a stochastic model to account for random X-ray luminosity from Pop III X-ray Binaries, which drives Cosmic Dawn and Reionization signals in the 21-cm signal. The model shows that while it doesn't change large-scale signals, it significantly enhances fluctuations on small scales, especially at high redshifts.
