Remix the Timbre: Diffusion-Based Style Transfer Across Polyphonic Stems
MixtureTT is a system that performs per-stem timbre transfer directly from a polyphonic musical mixture without needing separate source separation. It uses a joint diffusion process to simultaneously modify all stems to target instruments, overcoming the artifacts and incoherence found in older separate-then-transfer methods. This allows for more coherent multi-instrument outputs.
