Cosmic topology. Part IId. Eigenmodes and correlation matrices of lens spaces

The authors compute full covariance matrices for scalar perturbations in arbitrary lens spaces and observer positions. They use Kullback-Leibler divergence to compare these signatures against a simply connected three-sphere of the same curvature. The findings show that topological differences remain statistically significant even when the shortest loop distance is close to the last scattering surface diameter.
