Instance-optimal high-precision shadow tomography with few-copy measurements: A metrological approach
This research determines the minimum number of quantum copies needed to accurately measure an unknown quantum state using few measurements. It establishes instance-optimal bounds for high-precision shadow tomography, showing that adaptive measurement strategies and $c$-copy measurements allow solving the problem with sample complexities related to the inverse Fisher information matrix.
