Attainable Boundaries versus Operational Equivalence: Dual Benchmarks for the Hierarchical Assessment of Quantum Resources
The work introduces a new framework to evaluate quantum states against resources currently accessible by experimental constraints, rather than idealized free states. It uses two benchmarks: one based on reachable states via free operations and another based on numerical optimization for operational equivalence. This allows for strategy-dependent performance assessment and a strategy-independent lower bound.
