The work reformulates Kubo-Bastin decompositions by expanding them in a system's eigenbasis. This transformation allows energy integrals to be solved analytically, eliminating the need for numerical integration over energy spectra. The result is a computationally cheaper method for calculating transport coefficients in periodic systems.
